Questions
What documents do I need to import into Saudi Arabia?
Usually the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading or airway bill, often with a certificate of origin. Many products also need Saber certificates. Send us what your supplier provides and we tell you exactly what is missing.
What is Saber and does my product need it?
Saber is the SASO platform for product conformity certificates. Many regulated products need a product certificate and a shipment certificate before customs will clear them. We check your product and arrange the certificates.
How are customs duty and VAT calculated?
Duty is a percentage of the shipment value set by the product’s HS code – many goods are 5%, some are more or less. Import VAT of 15% is also paid at clearance. We show these as separate lines in our quotation.
How long does shipping take?
It depends on the route and season. As a rough guide from China: air freight about one week door to door, sea freight about three to five weeks. We give you an estimate with every quotation and keep you updated.
Can you collect from my supplier abroad?
Yes. We can collect from your supplier’s door, handle export at origin, ship, clear customs in Saudi Arabia and deliver to your warehouse – or just the parts you need.
Do you handle customs clearance only?
Yes. If your cargo is already on its way, we can take over at the port or airport, clear it and deliver it.
Are your invoices ZATCA-compliant?
Yes. Our tax invoices are electronic invoices cleared by ZATCA (Fatoora), with the QR code, so you can claim the VAT.
